Computer programming

Fundamentals of computer programming:   

Let's get started:      
  Time  to get our  hands  dirty!
  Let's go into the world of  programming!             
    
    Computers are pretty dumb, literally have no brains!!
     
    Then how do work computers?

     So,say thanks to programming! that's  how we make computer  do cool 
     Cool stuff for us.

     So don't angry on computer, don't do stupid to things on computer!
     
     Computers are doing capable of complex calculations.
  
     Computers think " your wish  is my command".

     Programmer thinks " Do I press enter  after the your wish".
   
     What if we get computers  to slove problems for us?
     
     Well,we are learn about to learn just that

     Programming  let us slove problems by giving instructions to computers!

     Programming is a problem solving
    
     Steps involved in problem solving: 
    

  • Define a problem    
  • Break  the problem into smaller parts and analyze
  • Plan the steps for solution
  • Implement the solution

     Programs:

    programming is everywhere
     
    Beware! programs are everywhere, it's on integral part 
    
    Of our life now

    This website using you are right now is a program,and 
   
    And so your  alarm clock and digital watch

    We spend 80% of our time  is interacting with different 

     Programs

     For example mobile apps, laptops/desktop applications,

     Operating systems,web browsers.......................and so on.

     Every thought that all the  tasks we do based on the 

     Sequence of steps?
   
     Ex: feeling hungry?our steps. 
       
           1. Open the fridge.
           2. Get food out.
            3.close the fridge.
            4. Eat the food.

    We use similar sequences of logical steps in  
     
    Programming

    For example  tasks required you to follow a sequence 
    
   Of steps are write a compute program,cooking,......etc

   Computers work useing programs

    Programs  are sequence of instructions.

    Programming is sloving the problems  with steps of 
    Instructions

    
Storage:
   

    Humans forget  something! But computers don't forget!

     Let's put that memory to good use by learning how to 
     Store information in the computers
    
     Remeber what you had for yesterday lunch?    No

     Don't worry , computers never forget anything if they 
     are told to remember
  
     We are about to learn how to use this superpower of   
     Infinite memory
     
     Variables:

      To remember things ,computers use memory boxes 
       are called variables.

       They can change their values.

       Like boxes , variables have a label  and store content 
       in them.

      Numbers+computers is a great combo  to carry out
       arthmatic tasks.

       Even if we are mathematicians,it would be hard to 
       beat the speed and accuracy of computers.

       Unlike numbers ,words (also called strings)

       This is   where we use  boxes  with space to store 
        multiple values also called  lists.
       Notice that? Lists are suitable  to store  multiple  
       values , particularly when they are of the same type
       
  Repeating things:

         For example wish I could blow  all  the balloons  once
         
        How many times have you repeatedly done a task?
        
        Just one or two times we well get tied,not too many 
        many times, it's wanna get bored

        But computer never get tied and  can repeat stuff 
        over and over again and never get bored.

      Loops:
     
         The repetition of steps is known as loops.
      
        As a computer programmer,you should be able to 
        identify repetitive tasks and wrap them up in loops

       If you don't know how many times a sequence to be 
       repeated?

       Don't worry, in such a situation we use the untill 
       Condition loop or while_ condition loop.
   
      The untill loop or while _loop is condition_controlled 
       loops which repeat till the conditions reached

       Repetitive tasks handeld  better by using loops.  
      
       Loops can have fixed number of  repetitions.
       
       Loops can have conditional number of  repetitions
       (Untill condition is met).

       
Making decisions:

       Computers can make decisions for us?

         Remember we learner computers can't think?

         So we have also tell the computer what decision to 
         make!

         Computers have to be told to take decisions based on 
         Conditions
 
     Using if ....then...else:

      Computers use simple words such as if and then to 
        guide their actions.

       Conditions the computers decided what action to   
       Perform and when

       conditions make the programs more intelligent
       
       Else if

      Computers can't decide themselves
     
      We help the computers decided by creating conditions
      based on situations

     These conditions make the programs seem intelligent

     Programs with conditions help the computer  perform 
     the  action in right situations

Creating lists:

      
      Lists are used to store set of related values.

      Items of lists can be sorted rearranged, replaced
      and removed

      You can perform the tasks  on each item of list together
      Once

Grouping instructions:

      We do daily a few similar activities such as eating,
       bathing, brushing, break fast and more.

       These activities follow similar set of sequences  and 
       are  repeatedly follow in similar ways

      Unfortunately real life doesn't allow us a  short cut,but 
      hey  computer world is does!

      We are about to find out how........

      Well,programs as well contain parts that are repeated
       many times.
